Two hospitalized after a car crash on I-490
Rochester, N.Y. – Early in the morning, two people were sent to the area hospital with injuries due to a car crash. At approximately 3:10 a.m., on 5 February, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a major car accident on Interstate 490.
Reports from the officials show that a sedan and a semi-trailer were involved in a crash on the west side of the interstate. Crews arrived at the scene and closed the road between New York State Route 259 and New York State Route 36 as they worked to clear the scene and investigate.
Two people were taken to the area hospitals for the treatment of injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time.
