Latin music fans rejoice as Rochester announces Roc’n Ritmo’s return, offering free access to live music, food, and family-friendly activities

Rochester, New York – Downtown Rochester is set to pulsate with the rhythms of Latin music as the city announces the return of the beloved Roc’n Ritmo festival. Scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 5 to 11 p.m., this vibrant celebration will transform Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park into a lively hub of cultural festivity.

This year’s festival is headlined by the iconic Caña Brava, a Puerto Rican tropical music group renowned for their dynamic stage presence and a fusion of merengue and bachata that has captivated audiences from Madison Square Garden to Radio City Music Hall. Fans of Latin music can look forward to an evening filled with the energetic beats and compelling rhythms that have made Caña Brava a legendary name in the music industry.

Mayor Malik D. Evans expressed his excitement for the festival.

“I listened to some Caña Brava and I can say that it does not disappoint,” said Mayor Evans. “This music is festive and it will make you move.”

In addition to the musical performances, Roc’n Ritmo will feature an array of local entertainers, food vendors offering a taste of Hispanic cuisine, and interactive activities for attendees of all ages. The event is designed to celebrate and promote the rich heritage of the Hispanic community, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation among Rochester’s diverse population.

For the first time, general admission to the event will be free, making it accessible to a broader audience. Those looking for a more exclusive experience can opt for the VIP package, priced at $25, which offers enhanced amenities and comforts. Tickets for the VIP experience can be purchased online, ensuring a streamlined entry on the day of the event.

Roc’n Ritmo is not just a concert but a signature event of the City of Rochester’s Hispanic Heritage Committee. Through this event, the committee strives to highlight the vibrancy of Latin culture through music, dance, and engaging community activities. The organization and production of the event are being led by Orlando Ortiz of RocOn Times, LLC, guaranteeing an evening that is both professionally curated and deeply engaging.
