Rochester celebrates music and togetherness with Party in the Park 2025 lineup

Rochester, New York – Mayor Malik Evans is pleased to announce the return of the Party in the Park concert series to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, starting on Thursday, July 10. The concert series, a beloved tradition now in its 28th year, will open with a performance by the renowned Seven Wonders, with Highway Boys, a Zac Bryan tribute band, warming up the crowd as the opening act.

“Party in the Park has proven to be a community favorite for 28 years and counting,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans. “There is something for everyone and everyone is welcome. So, I invite the entire community to come Downtown and enjoy the world-class entertainment that has put this event front and center as an example of our longstanding love for music and community.”

“Music brings people together, and you can’t get any better than this—two amazing acts all in one night each week for only $7,” said series promoter Jeff Springut, CEO of RochesterEvents.com. “All in amazing Downtown Rochester, the heartbeat of the city. We’re ready for a summer full of great music, food and beverage, all bringing friends together!”

The series will run every Thursday through August 14, with gates opening at 5 p.m. and performances beginning at 6:30 p.m. General admission is priced at $7, and children 12 and under can enjoy the concerts free of charge. For a more exclusive experience, VIP Ultra Lounge tickets are available for $35, offering premium seating, private restrooms, a full cash bar, table service, complimentary chair massages, and more.

This year’s lineup promises a diverse range of musical talents:

  • July 10 features Seven Wonders with Highway Boys.
  • July 17 will see Cruel Summer, a Taylor Swift tribute band, and BB Dang.
  • July 25 brings Melvin Seals and JGB; Dogs in a Pile.
  • July 31 showcases Ripe and Badfish, a tribute to Sublime.
  • August 7 includes performances by Andy Frasco and the Un; Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs.
  • August 14 closes with Eddie 9volt and special guests to be announced later.

The Craft Beer Garden will offer an array of New York State’s finest IPAs, ciders, and stouts, while the Wine Time Bar will serve popular wine slushies among other selections. Happy hour specials will be available from 5–7:30 p.m. Attendees are allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water but must leave lawn chairs, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, pets, and smoking materials at home.

Parking is accessible at several nearby locations, including the Washington Square Garage and the Court Street Garage, with metered on-street parking free after 6 p.m. on concert nights.
