Rochester police searched suspicious vehicle Wednesday night, they found a gun and narcotics, report
Rochester, New York – Rochester police officers were dispatched at the scene in the driveway of an unoccupied house on Sullivan Street following a 911 call reporting suspicious vehicle parked.
At around 7 p.m., the police responded at the scene of the vacant house searched the vehicle and recovered plenty od drugs as well as a handgun.
According to the police report, responding officer recovered a loaded 9mm ghost gun and undisclosed amount of cocaine and fentanyl.
For those who are not aware, a ghost gun is a gun without serial number which has never been added in the system.
In regards to the case, Rochester Police Department arrested two suspects believed to be involved in the case.
The 35-year-old Daniel Mooney and the 35-year-old Matthew Oppel both of Batavia, were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree (C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree (D Felony), and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (A Misdemeanor).
The police didn’t immediately release additional details about the case.
