Henrietta man accused of multiple thefts and burglaries at a new construction site in the Town of Henrietta has been arrested

Henrietta, New York – The 26-year-old Alexander Schwartz accused of multiple thefts and burglaries at a new construction site in the Town of Henrietta has been arrested and charged by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies, officials confirmed.
According to the local authorities, the arrest came following a months-long investigation after several reports about thefts and burglaries at Grandstand Circle that happened over the course of the last few months.
Sheriff office’s officials were able to determine the suspect’s vehicle to be a white U-Haul pickup truck.
The last incident reportedly happened on February 21st and police that day noticed the vehicle and a white suspect loading sheet of plywood into the pickup truck. It was later discovered the suspect to be the 26-year-old Alexander Schwartz.
Schwartz was later arrested and charged with petit larceny and possession of burglar tools.
Once deputies identified Schwartz as the main suspect in the case, they learned that he has several outstanding felony warrants from Monroe County Court.
Authorities say their investigation revealed that Schwartz was responsible for ten burglaries at the construction site and added additional charges.
Schwartz was charged with the following:
- Ten counts of burglary in the third degree
- Grand Larceny in the third degree
- Criminal Mischief in the second degree
- Petit Larceny
- Possession of Burglar tools
