Rochester man shot on South Avenue
Rochester, New York — Friday evening a man is hospitalized after he was shot in the South Wedge.
According to Rochester Police, they arrived at the scene on South Avenue near Gregory Street just before 5:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found a 32-year-old Rochester man with a gunshot to the lower body. The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, and he is expected to survive.
The surrounding streets have since opened to traffic.
