Farmington man facing multiple charges after burglarizing home, stealing car in Canandaigua
Canandaigua, New York — A 31-year-old man from Farmington is facing multiple charges after police say he burglarized a home and stole a vehicle in the city of Canandaigua.
The suspect was identified as Sean M. Harloff of Farmington. He was arrested and charged with one count of burglary in the second degree and one count of grand larceny in the third degree.
According to police, on June 6 around 7:15 a.m. Harloff burglarized a home in the city of Canandaigua, stole a vehicle parked inside the garage, and fled the scene when confronted by the homeowner.
On July 8 an Irondequoit Police officer spotted a car that was reported stolen from the city of Rochester. A car chase started and later ended outside a home on Bay Road near Route 104.
According to Police, Harloff was the driver and then ran away from the car but was later found in the area.
Harloff was arraigned at Ontario County Court and transported back to Monroe County Jail where he is already being held without bail.
