More road work on Route 390 in Greece
Greece, New York — Over the next few weeks, drivers on Route 390 in Greece will encounter some changes.
According to The New York State Department of Transportation, they are doing preventative maintenance on Route 390 over Round Pond Creek. This requires lane closures between Latta Road and the Lake Ontario State Parkway.
Beginning 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, the left lane along Route 390 northbound will be closed. The entrance ramp from Latta Road to Route 390 northbound will also be closed. A detour will be posted directing drivers from Latta Road to Dewey Avenue to the parkway.
Beginning 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, the left lane along State Route 390 southbound will be closed and traffic will be shifted onto the shoulder.
Delays are expected. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a suspended driver’s license.
For real-time travel information, call 511 or visit www.511NY.org or the mobile site at m.511ny.org.
According to officials, work should be completed in early June.
