Driver Killed in Accident at Paradise Speedway
Phelps, New York — On Saturday a driver spun out at Paradise Speedway Saturday.
According to The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was reported to be unresponsive as emergency crews arrived. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the driver’s vehicle spun out and stopped before rolling backward and eventually coming to a stop.
“When we have more information that we can share, we will,” Paradise Speedway said in a social media post. “Until then, our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends for their loss.”
The victim’s identity has not yet been released and the cause of death is still under investigation.
