Man injured at Joseph Avenue shooting
Rochester, New York – On Sunday afternoon, a shooting took place on Joseph Avenue in Rochester.
According to the officers, when they arrived with the Rochester Police Department at the scene, they located a 39-year-old man laying on the sidewalk near the rear of a building on Joseph Avenue.
The victim had been shot at least once in his body, police said.
The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive.
His injuries are not life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
