Woman accused of driving vehicle into Rochester home
Rochester, New York – A woman was charged with DWAI and aggravated unlicensed operation after the July 13 crash. Jawanda Chandler pleaded not guilty at Friday’s arraignment.
According to police, Chandler drove her vehicle into a Thomas Street home. The vehicle reportedly ended up in the home’s living room.
None of their injuries were considered life-threatening. Five children who were in the home were taken to the hospital. Police say Chandler was not hurt.
Chandler is due back in court next month.
