Third annual Salsa Festival at Fringe Fest
Rochester, New York – The International Plaza’s third annual International Salsa Day celebration on Sunday marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month as part of Fringe Fest.
In addition, a variety of ethnic food alternatives were set up around the plaza to complement the event’s extensive offering of international cuisine, culture, and heritage.
Several dancers from the area competed in a salsa competition honoring Marcos Santiago for his services to the Hispanic community.
Along with music, dancing, and cultural celebration, the event included performances by DJ Julio Pabony “Mezclando,” La Muralla, Orq. Antonetti, and Naomi.
