The record-breaking class of 2028 is welcomed to St. John Fisher
Pittsford, New York – Over the Labor Day weekend, St. John Fisher University students will be moving into their new dorms.
The Class of 2028 is being welcomed to the university’s campus. With 687 students from all over the world, it is the largest class in the university’s history, according to officials.
Vice President for Enrollment Management Jose Perales stated, “It’s really one of our favorite weekends of the year.” “Everyone who is new to the school is here, including first-year students and our existing students who are assisting the newcomers. Staff, instructors, and coaches are all present to greet guests, help them get settled into Fisher, and get them enthused about the day.”
Nursing, biology, sport management, psychology, and marketing/management are the most popular academic majors. Like the entering class of the previous year, approximately 89% of first-year students will live on campus.
“I’m enrolled in the pharmacy program, and I think the pharmacy school is excellent,” Holley, New York student Katie Dubri said. Fisher is a significant deal because they have an extremely tight-net program, like fewer classrooms, and I go to a really tiny school. What I’m most excited about is that it’s a little more personalized than other programs.”
The new Cardinals will learn about Fisher through workshops and seminars for small groups during the course of the weekend.
