Teacher at Greece Olympia was killed in an automobile accident

Greece, New York – On Friday, two days after the first day of school for the Greece Olympia school district, a car accident claimed the life of an English as a new language instructor who was working at Greece Olympia.
It was announced by the Greece Central School District that Jillian Branciforte had passed away as a result of the accident.
“This loss affects not only Olympia but also the entire district, as Jillian’s influence extended across multiple schools,” said a statement released by the district. “Jillian’s influence extended across multiple schools.”
During the coming days, members of the district’s Trauma, Illness, and Grief Team will be present at the school to provide support to both the staff and the students as they grieve. The school system has provided students and staff with further information regarding the times that the team will be present on campus.
The Hilton Central School District posted a statement on its Facebook page stating that Branciforte had graduated from Hilton in 2013. The district also expressed “our sincerest condolences to all who knew and loved her.”
