Stabbing on Loomis Street, police investigating

Rochester, New York – Rochester Police are investigating after a man was stabbed on Loomis Street just after midnight on Monday.
According to police, they responded to Loomis Street after a 38-year-old man was stabbed once in the upper body while in a tent.
Police say the male victim was taken to Strong Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, this incident is not related to the homicide on Joseph Avenue which happened nearly at the same time.
No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 423-9300.
