Some Wegmans stores in Rochester offering COVID-19 vaccinations for children

Rochester, New York — COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5-11 in some Wegmans stores in the Rochester area.
According to the Wegmans website, Brockport, Chili Avenue, Canandaigua and Hornell are offering the vaccine for people age 5 and up.
All Wegmans pharmacy locations will offer appointments for this age group once the product arrives in stores.
Appointments must be scheduled in advance at wegmans.com/pharmacy or by calling 1-800-207-6099 from 2 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Appointments for children ages 5-11 in and around Monroe County are rapidly becoming scarce as clinics struggle to keep up with demand.
According to local health care providers, vaccinations will be made available at pediatric offices in the coming weeks.
