Social media catches maskless Senator Kirsten Gillibrand entering Latham restaurant

New York – After she was spotted entering a restaurant without a mask, social media is leading the criticism of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
Despite the state mandate requiring masks in restaurants, the senator was seen walking in Innovo Kitchen in Latham without a mask.
According to Innovo Kitchen owner John LaPosta, Gillibrand walked past the “masks required to enter” sign so fast employees didn’t have a chance to tell her to put one on.
“We all need to do our part to help stop the spread of Omicron and that means following state and local guidance,” Gillibrand said. “That includes me and I will do better going forward.”
