Saturday is the first early voting day in Monroe County
Rochester, New York – The presidential primary in New York is scheduled for April 2, but Monroe County is doing early voting this weekend.
At 17 specific locations, voters in Monroe County will have the opportunity to cast their ballots early beginning on Saturday and continuing through next Saturday.

• North Greece Road Church of Christ, 1039 North Greece Road

The voting hours are as follows: Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Additionally, the introduction of early mail ballots for this year’s primary is a major development brought about by new legislation in 2023. Voters who are registered to vote may choose to cast their ballot by mail starting in 2024 by requesting an early ballot. Applications can be mailed 10 days before the election date, or they can be personally handed to the county’s Board of Elections until the day of the election.
In addition to regular in-person voting alternatives, early mail ballots are intended to provide voters with more flexibility by enabling them to participate in the election process safely and quickly.
