RPD investigating a shooting on city’s west side

Rochester, N.Y. – Police officers are investigating a shooting which occured around 7:30 p.m in the area of Ames Street and Masseth Street on Saturday night.
The man arrived by a private vehicle at the Strong Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound.
The victim is a 31 year old man from Rochester and his injuries are non-life-threatening.
The Rochester Police Department announced that they do not have suspect in custody yet in connection to this shooting and anyone who has information about this incident is asked to call 911.
