Rochester Police investigating multiple Saturday night shootings
Rochester N.Y. – No suspects are in custody after three separate shootings Saturday night.
The first happened just after 7:30 p.m., in the area of Genesee Street and Magnolia Avenue, according to Rochester Police.
An 18-year-old had been shot at least one time, and another 18-year-old was injured while trying to escape the gunfire. Both victims were transported by ambulance to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At the same time, police responded to Wilkins Street, between Hudson Avenue and Thomas Street, for a report of shots fired.
No victims were found at the scene, but a few minutes later, a 21-year-old man arrived at a local hospital via private vehicle with at least one gunshot wound.
A police investigation revealed that the man was shot in the area of Wilkin Street. He is currently in stable but serious condition.
Then at around 9:00 p.m., a 65-year-old woman was shot in the area of Van Auker and Reynolds Streets.
She was transported by ambulance to an area hospital where she is expected to be treated and released.
There are no suspects for any of the shootings in custody.
