Road closures coming around Keuka Lake

Yates County, New York – Two significant roadways in the Keuka Lake area will be undergoing work beginning this week, drivers are being informed.
Sections of State Routes 14A and 54A will be converted to single traffic, according to the New York Department of Transportation.
On weekdays, the road maintenance will be done from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
SR 14A between Vine St. in Dundee and Hoyt Rd. in Milo will be closed beginning on October 10.
SR 54A between Eastman Avenue in Penn Yan and School Road in Branchport will be closed as of October 17.
Weather allowing, the DOT stated that both roads should be completed by the end of October. Drivers are advised to expect delays and reduce their speed in construction areas.
