RFD: 1 Dead After Fire at Andrews Terrace on St. Paul Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Fire Department says one person has died after a two-alarm fire at Andrews Terrace on St. Paul Street.
The fire department says it was called to the complex just before 7 p.m. Friday.
The fire was located on the 10th floor of the building, according to the Rochester Fire Fighters Association’s Twitter account. IAFF Local 1071 serves as the RFD’s union.
It also says the fire was declared a second alarm because the building is a high rise.
Crews were able to keep the fire contained to one apartment.
The person found inside has not been identified and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
