129 new Covid-19 cases reported in Monroe County

Monroe County, N.Y. – The Monroe County Department of Public Health reported 129 new Covid-19 cases Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 50,371.
A total of 1,108 people have died from COVID-19-related causes in Monroe County. The 7-day rolling average positivity rate for the county is now 2.2%, and the 7-day rolling average of new cases is 146.
As of Friday, the Finger Lakes region’s COVID-19 dashboard showed 237 people in the region are hospitalized, including 65 in the ICU.
The percentage of total hospital beds available in the Finger Lakes region on a 7-day rolling average is 40%. The percentage of ICU beds available in the Finger Lakes region on a 7-day rolling average is 37%.
