Monday night we expect Monroe County absentee ballot counts could be complete
Monroe County, New York – We expect to know if the absentee ballots will flip election night results in some close races in Monroe County, by the end of the day Monday.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, the Monroe County Board of Elections will count the absentee ballots.
There’s a total of 7,658 absentee ballots to be counted.
According to the Monroe County Board of Elections, unofficial results should be known by end of day Monday, but would still need to be certified with the state.
There are a number of very close election night results, including the President of the Monroe County Legislature and Irondequoit Town Supervisor.
There will be a hand recount if the margin of a win is within 20 votes or .5%.
