Mendoza has accepted a new position at Trillium Health
Rochester, New York – The former commissioner of public health in Monroe County has secured a new position.
Michael Mendoza has been appointed as the senior vice president and chief operating officer at Trillium Health.
Mendoza held the position of health commissioner for over six years before unexpectedly stepping down in March.
Last month, Dr. Marielena Vélez de Brown took over the position previously held by Mendoza.
Trillium has revealed that Christopher Woodring will take on the role of vice president and chief pharmacy officer.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Mendoza and Christopher Woodring to our Executive Leadership Team,” said Jason Barnecut-Kearns, President & CEO of Trillium Health. “Their extensive experience, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment to our mission will significantly enhance our ability to serve the community, particularly as we transition to a Federally Qualified Health Center.”
