Beef’s in Horseheads purchased by Curly’s Chicken House

Horseheads, New York – A well-known establishment in Horseheads has changed hands following a recent acquisition, occurring approximately ten months after it was listed for sale.
Curly’s Chicken House has officially taken ownership of Beef’s Bar & Grill, as announced by Kristi Merstock, the owner of Curly’s, on Monday. The transition will take effect on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
On Monday, it was announced that Kristi Merstock and her husband Paul Merstock are the new owners of Beef’s, and they are thrilled about the chance to run and operate the beloved establishment.
“We are committed to maintaining this location as a vital part of our community while introducing some new and exciting elements,” Merstock stated in a Facebook post on Monday.
Merstock stated in the post that she continues to own Curly’s and intends to do so for the foreseeable future. Beef’s is set to open on Friday, Dec. 20, with Merstock noting that there are plans for a celebration on New Year’s Eve.
In February, Beef’s was listed online for approximately $800,000, but the actual selling price at the bar remains unclear.
