Egypt firefighters raise funds for Ukraine
Fairport, New York — In order to collect funds in support of first responders, refugees, and citizens of Ukraine, on Saturday, the Egypt Fire Department took it to the streets, when it conducted a “Fill the Boot Drive”.
The drive took place at the intersection of Route 250 and Route 31 in Perinton.
The Egypt Fire Department were also supported by troopers from the New York State Police, deputies from the Monroe County Sherriff’s Department, and members of the Fairport Fire Department.
Supporters could donate by sending checks to The Egypt Fire Department, 7478 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport, New York 14450, and are asked to write “Fill the Boot” on the memo line.
Donations are also being accepted through PayPal, the link Egyptfiredepartment, with “Fill the Boot” to be written in the comments section.
All donations will be delivered to RocMaidan.
