COVID-19 vaccination clinics scheduled at Rochester schools

Rochester, New York – Starting Friday, Jan. 7., at several Rochester city schools, Monroe County is opening COVID-19 vaccination clinics.

Right now, students in the Rochester City School District are learning remotely. They are expected to return to their buildings on Tuesday.

“We know that getting vaccinated is the best way to help minimize the spread of COVID-19,” said Superintendent Dr. Lesli Myers-Small. “We are asking everyone to do their part to keep students, families, and staff safe.”

According to district officials, to check this list for updated information or to schedule an appointment, call 211.

First-dose appointments for children ages 5-11:

Tuesday, January 18 – School No. 45, 1445 Clifford Ave., 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, January 25 – School No. 8, 1180 St. Paul St. , 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, January 27 – School No. 50, 301 Seneca Ave., 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

First-dose appointments for children ages 12 and up:

Friday, January 7 – East High School, 180 East Main St. , 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, January 10 – Jefferson Campus, 1 Edgerton Park, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, January 11 – Franklin Campus, 950 Norton St., 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, January 13 – Wilson Foundation Academy, 200 Genesee St., 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, January 28 – East High School, 1801 E. Main St., 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Second-dose appointments for children ages 12 and up:

Friday, January 7 – East High School, 180 E. Main St., 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday, January 28 – East High School, 1801 E. Main St., 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Booster shot appointments for children 16 and up:

Friday, January 7 – East High School, 180 E. Main St., 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
