A man arrested after robbing three banks in 48 hours
Gates, New York – According Gates Police a Rochester man is accused of robbing three banks within 48 hours.
On Sunday around 11:15 a.m. 32-year-old Terrance Blackman passed a note demanding money at Key Bank on Spencerport Road.
He was arrested in a nearby parking lot.
Blackman passed a note demanding money at the M&T Bank on Lyell Avenue about 45 minutes before, Rochester police said.
On Thursday about 3 p.m. Blackman is also the suspect in a robbery at Key Bank on Mount Hope Avenue.
He is charged with three counts each of robbery and grand larceny, and is being held in Monroe County Jail without bail.
Gates police said Blackman is on parole for a 2017 bank robbery.
Blackman is due in City Court on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m.
