Livingston County announces county-wide, large-scale mural festival
Livingston County, New York – According to the county, the first-ever county-wide mural festival for New York State, kicked off this weekend in Livingston County.
“Our county put this together to do nine murals, one in each village. Who else has done that? That is pretty amazing,” said the Downtown Coordinator for Livingston County Louise Wadsworth.
Through the month of July, the festival will continue every Saturday in each of the nine villages in Livingston County.
Nine international artists are being brought in to paint large-scale murals, people can come and watch the artists paint while enjoying food, craft beverages, live music, family art activities, and other performances.
Next unveiling events:
• Saturday, July 16 – Geneseo, Leicester, Livonia
• Saturday, July 23 – Dansville, Mount Morris, Nunda
