Double shooting on Bay Street, police investigating
Rochester, New York – On Saturday night, two people were shot near Bay Street.
According to Rochester Police, they responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 11:00 p.m. near Bay street for multiple rounds being detected.
A 16-year-old boy and a 21 year-old-man were dropped off at Rochester General Hospital by a private vehicle, officers said.
Both victims suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to their lower bodies.
Upon investigation, it had been discovered that the victims were shot in the area of the original ShotSpotter activation.
At this time, there are no suspects in custody.
