Rochester area honors fallen with ceremonies on Memorial Day
Rochester, New York – On Monday, Memorial Day brought beautiful weather for the unofficial start of summer.
Parades and picnics were held from Greece to Pittsford and beyond but the day’s significance was at the forefront.
It was a day to honor the ultimate sacrifice of so many Americans. Too many Americans.
“At least once a year, we take a little time to think about all those who went to war to fight for us and didn’t come back,” Bob Pegan, who attended Pittsford’s parade.
“I like how everyone’s always, like, joining together,” little Sierra said.
