Manufacturing company Gorbel expands to new plant in Henrietta
Henrietta, Rochester, NY – Gorbel, a manufacturing company based in Victor, will be expanding in the Rochester area.
The company announced Tuesday it will be taking over the former Getinge facility on East Henrietta Road in Henrietta. With the expansion, Gorbel officials said they will add approximately 60 new jobs by the end of this year.
Anyone interested in working at the plant can attend a hiring event on August 18 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Positions for welders, mechanical assemblers, electrical technicians, quality technicians, and general support workers will be available.
Gorbel makes material handling and fall protection equipment. It operates locations in New York, Alabama, Arizona and China, as well as a sales office in Michigan.
