Following an incident with EMT, RPD investigator suspended
Rochester, New York – The Rochester Police investigator who was seen putting an EMT in handcuffs inside a local emergency room has been suspended.
On Monday, July 11, the incident was captured on security video inside Strong Memorial Hospital.
The Rochester Police Department had previously placed the investigator, on desk duty pending an internal investigation.
The investigator’s name has still not been released.
According to the department, on Monday the investigator had been suspended with pay.
