48 new COVID-19 cases reported in Monroe County
Monroe County, New York – According to the Monroe County Department of Health, 1,351 people have died and there are 68,331 positive coronavirus tests in the county.
Of the 68,331 cases, 48 are new since Monday. The seven-day rolling average of new cases is 54 per day.
The seven-day rolling average positivity rate, based on combined Antigen and PCR test results (New York State guidelines), is 2.6%, and 3.3% based on NAAT test results (CDC guidelines) as of Monday, Aug. 3.
41 people were hospitalized in the Finger Lakes region as of Aug. 2, 5 of whom were in the ICU.
