2 Rush-Henrietta students diagnosed with COVID-19
HENRIETTA, N.Y. — Two Rush-Henrietta students have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
One student attended Crane Elementary School and the other attended Vollmer Elementary School. Both only attended school on Tuesday before being put into quarantine by the Monroe County Department of Health.
The students will be in isolation until they are cleared by the health department.
Health officials say they do not believe anyone in the schools is at risk because of the masking and social distancing policies the schools have in place.
The health department did not identify any “close contacts” who may be at risk according to the school.
The district’s schools will reopen on Monday.
