1 dead, 1 in critical condition after shooting in Rochester

Rochester, New York — Three people were shot in Rochester in the neighborhood of North Clinton Avenue and Rialto Street on Wednesday afternoon.
Police remain on the scene of the shooting.
According to officials, one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, another was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in critical condition, and they said the third victim is currently in stable condition.
While police investigate officers have set up crime scene tape on North Clinton Avenue and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
At this time, details regarding the shooting are limited.
It’s the third homicide of 2022 after the city saw a record 81 homicides in 2021, according to Rochester police
Last Thursday three people were shot, including a 3-year-old, following a “domestic violence situation” on Glendale Park near Lake Avenue. Richard Burchard-Lopez, 23 of Rochester, was later arrested and charged in connection to the Glendale Park shooting.
