Young girl injured in a car accident on Frost Avenue

Rochester, New York — After being struck by a car in a hit-and-run, a 7-year-old-girl was injured on Frost Avenue in Rochester on Sunday.
According to the incident report it happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. Officials say, the girl ran into the street and was struck by a dark colored, four door sedan car. Before police arrived, that car left the scene.
The girl with non-life threatening injuries was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The investigation about the incident is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
