To support kids who need a wish, more than 275 people attend the Make-A-Wish gala
Rochester, New York – Over two hundred and seventy-five individuals gathered on Saturday evening to commemorate the power of a wish.
To provide financial assistance to over 130 local children who need a wish, the Make-A-Wish gala is being held at the Hyatt Regency Center.
Cocktails, a silent auction, and thought-provoking accounts from individuals whose lives have been changed by Make-A-Wish were all featured at the event.
“My cousin was a wish child, and I saw the magic that the wish brought him and their family,” said Nicole Kingsley-Brenner, chair of the Rochester Advisory Board. “I vowed to do whatever I could to bring other children’s wishes.”
“It’s magical when you see what Mae-A-Wish can do for a child and a family, to be surrounded by so many people who believe in that.”
The goal of the event was to raise two thousand dollars for the organization Make-a-Wish.
