Yates County Sheriff’s Office joins in a campaign on reducing speeding
Yates County, New York – According to Yates County Sheriff’s Office, they are participating in a campaign organized by the Governors Traffic Safety Committee which focuses on reducing speeding.
Other police agencies across the state are participating in helping to educate the public on the dangers of speeding while driving.
According to the police, they will also enforce speed limits more strictly.
Sheriff Ron Spike says, speeding not only endangers the driver but others on the road who may be on bicycles, farm equipment, or horses and buggies.
