Woman arrested, charged with first homicide of 2021
Rochester, N.Y. – Investigators with the Rochester Police Department said a woman was arrested after a man was stabbed to death on Clay Avenue Sunday night.
Police were called about a man who had been stabbed on Clay Avenue near Lake Avenue around 9 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found 52-year-old Antonio Addison had been stabbed and lying unresponsive on the ground. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
As part of their investigation, officers detained 51-year-old Patricia Hutton, who lived with Addison and was in a relationship with him.
Police said the two got into an argument and Hutton ultimately fatally stabbed Addison. Court paperwork was not available regarding a motive for the argument and stabbing.
It marks the first homicide in Rochester in 2021.
Hutton is being held at the Monroe County Jail until her arraignment in Rochester City Council on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 9:30 a.m.
