Windy forecast shortens Roc Holiday Village’s Saturday hours
Rochester, New York — The city of Rochester has made the decision to close the Roc Holiday Village early, with high winds expected on Saturday. It will be open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The following activities are canceled on Saturday, Dec. 11:
• Ice skating
• Petting Zoo
• Live music in the lodge
• Curling demonstration
• Flower City Pride band
• Private igloo reservations scheduled between 2:30 – 11 p.m.
The following activities remain scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11:
• Crafts and activities in the T-Mobile Gingerbread House presented by the YMCA, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• ROC Holiday Village Shopping, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• The Anthony Butera Team & Triple-O Lodge Pop-up Restaurant & Bar, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Private igloo reservations for 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
Reschedule for Tuesday, Dec. 14, receive a refund or receive a credit for the 2022 season are some of the options allowed for people who have igloo reservations and private events scheduled after 3 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the city says the Roc Holiday Village will be open for an extra day on Tuesday, Dec. 14 to make up for Saturday’s early closure.
This is the second weekend for the popular holiday event downtown. It runs until December 19.
