Triple shooting overnight in Rochester
Rochester, New York — On Saturday, shortly after 2 a.m., Rochester Police officers responded to a report of shots heard in the area of Monroe Ave. and Woodlawn Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers did find evidence of shots being fired at that intersection.
During investigating the incident, two individuals were dropped off by private vehicle at Strong Hospital, a 29-year-old male city resident and a 34-year-old male city resident, and another to Highland Hospital, a 27-year-old male city resident, each suffering from gunshot wounds.
The one that was originally dropped off at Highland was transported to Strong Hospital by ambulance.
Police determined that all three victims were shot in the area of the original call at Monroe Ave and Woodlawn Street.
Two of the victims have non-life-threatening injuries, while the third is in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
