Traffic Accident on I-490 at Exit 6 Results in Injuries

Gates, N.Y. – Early on Thursday evening, December 17th, authorities in the town of Gates were summoned to the scene of a traffic accident that ended with various injuries. The crash was reported on Interstate 490 at approximately 5:15 p.m.
According to local officials, at least two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the interstate, at or near Exit 6 to Route 204. Police officials and EMTs arrived at the scene a short time later and all victims were rendered immediate assistance for their injuries.
At this time, there has been no information reported on the conditions of those involved. Officials have not said whether or not anyone was ticketed for their role in the collision as the investigation is ongoing.
