To have good neighbors is a blessing from God. Neighbors will be here for you every time you need them and they can be more supportive than your friends and family, but this teenager was everything but a good neighbor after he shot to death three of them including 8-year-old girl in two separate shooting incidents in a span of 12 hours and he was caught on video.

According to police report, the suspect has been identified as the 18-year-old P. Clain and if found guilty he will spend at least a few decades in prison.

The charging documents indicate that he is charged for shooting the 26-year-old Victoria M. in the neighborhood area in Illinois where he was living, after he was seen on surveillance video running from her house wearing distinctive clothes just minutes after a gunshot was heard.

The woman was found dead the next morning after someone called police when they saw a body lying on the front porch with a shot to her right cheek. When first responders arrived at the scene, she was pronounced dead and started an investigation.

The next day, about 12 hours after the first incident, Clain reportedly left his house and went to his neighbor’s apartment trying to enter from the rear of the building. According to reports, a 27-year-old woman lived there together with her 8-year-old daughter.

The suspect was again caught on surveillance video entering their apartment, wearing the same clothes from the previous day. The police were dispatched at the scene on August 11th after the mother of the 27-year-old victim went to check on her and her daughter later that day because she couldn’t get them on the phone.

When she entered the apartment, she found the dead bodies of her daughter and granddaughter tied to a bed, all covered in blood with multiple gunshot wounds on each body.

Authorities were able to easily identify the suspect from the surveillance videos and he was arrested the next day. According to the court documents, the suspect is charged with three counts of first-degree murder, first-degree burglary and four counts of armed criminal action. He was extradited to St. Louis City Saturday.

Earlier Thursday, employees with St. Louis Crisis Nursery and the Urban League went door to door on Pleasant Street offering support and childcare supplies to those with young children.

“Whenever St Louis Crisis Nursery hears that a child has been injured, hurt or killed we jump into action to be as supportive to the community as much as we can,” said St. Louis Crisis Nursery C.E.O. D. Mueller KMOV 4 reported.

The area where the incident happened is known to be a calm area and the whole situation was so shocking that total strangers went in front of the house where the little girl was killed on Thursday to create a small memorial with flowers and balloons.

The people that gathered in front of the apartment were all in tears asking the authorities to do more and stop these kinds of incidents where innocent mothers and children are being killed.

Unfortunately for the residents, police are having hard times when they are investigating cases in the area because there are little-to-no cameras in the neighborhood. Authorities usually rely on the help and the support of the local community.

“This is very tragic and I think the weight of incidents like these really bring everyone down in the community. It’s really a sad situation,” local police said.

Friends of family said the mother of the 8-year-old was a dedicated single mother and friend. She was doing great in rising her daughter who was about to turn nine in a few weeks. Family members are shaken and hurt, and begging the community to help solve the crime.
