Teen With Autism Gets Special After-Hours Carousel Ride at Eastview Mall

Victor, N.Y – It was a memorable early Christmas gift for an Eastview Mall regular.
According to a post on the mall’s social media account, security guard Scott Woodruff invited a longtime carousel rider and his family to the mall at closing time for one last spin before the holidays.
In the post, mall management said teenager Trey has autism. And for more than 18 years, he has come to the mall as often as five times a week to ride the carousel.
The picture in the post shows Trey sitting in one of his favorite spots — the teacup.
