Standoff near Kiwanis Park in Nunda ends
Nunda, New York — After the suspect surrendered peacefully, an incident near Kiwanis Park in Nunda has ended.
According to Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty’ tweet, on Thursday morning there was a report of a person with a gun inside a home.
Patrols, along with SWAT, were able to evacuate next door neighbors safely and advised others to shelter in place.
According to Sheriff Dougherty, the suspect is now in custody and the situation is under control.
