Spencerport Canal Days returns after two-year pandemic break

Spencerport, New York – After its two-year break because of the pandemic, Spencerport Canal Days is back this weekend.
On July 30 and 31, the event took play with lots of arts and crafts vendors, a tasting tent, a children’s activity event, and more.
“We have a wonderful community, Spencerport- the village- is called ‘someplace special and we believe that,” said Ginny Swarthout, Director for Canal Days. “Come to see what we have to offer, in Spencerport, we have a wonderful school system, great restaurants, we have shops to shop in. We’ve got the canal, come by and sit on the canal, or bike on the canal. You will enjoy being here.”
On Sunday, the Greece Jazz Band, Sticks and Stones, and The Good Guys Blues Band, performed throughout the day.
This year marks the 39th anniversary of Spencerport Canal Days.
If you’re interested in volunteering, Canal Days is looking for more volunteers, and they ask you to send them an email at spencerportcanaldays35@gmail.com
