Rochester Police Identify Victim of Fatal Stabbing on Evergreen Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police have released the name of a man fatally stabbed during a fight on the city’s north side.
Police say they received a call around 5:15 p.m. Sunday for a group fighting in the area of Evergreen Street and St. Paul Street. On the way to the scene, a second call came in with a report of someone being stabbed.
When officers arrived, they say they found Jahlil Greer, 24, with a stab wound to the upper body. He was taken to URMC where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, officers were also notified of a second victim that had been dropped off at Rochester General Hospital with a stab wound to the upper body. According to police, the second victim is a man in his 40s and he is listed in stable condition. His name has not been released.
