Roberts Wesleyan pole vaulter qualities for Olympics

Rochester, New York – Currently in her fifth year of study at Roberts Wesleyan University, Brynn King is on her way to the Olympic Games in Paris in the year 2024!

After clearing 4.73 meters, which is equivalent to 15 feet and 6.25 inches, in the women’s pole vault, King has successfully qualified for the United States Olympic team.
She finished in third place at the competition because she had a greater number of unsuccessful leaps than the two ladies who came before her.

The former silver medalist Sandi Morris, who won her silver medal at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, was knocked out by this jump, which also beats King’s personal record by two inches.

In the women’s pole vault competition, King’s coach is Jenn Suhr, who is also an Olympian and a graduate of Roberts. Suhr won two medals in the Olympics. At the Olympic Games held in Beijing in 2008, she won silver, and at the Olympic Games held in 2012, she won gold.

Until he transferred to Wesleyan for the current academic year from Duke University, King had never before climbed to a height of more than 14 feet. At the trials, her unexpected berth at the Paris games is one of the most surprising surprises that has occurred.
